Diese eMail habe ich gerade von TweetAdder erhalten:
"Dear Dr. Reinhard,
as our truly valued affiliate; currently, we are not accepting new orders.
Twitter has removed our write access on our Twitter API meaning our program can not submit follows, unfollows, tweets, or send direct messages. The program can only read the Twitter data, which is good for creating and exporting lists built from our search functions only.
We disagree with the reasons for this removal and are in the process of communicating with Twitter in attempts to return to full functionality. Until that point, no new orders will be accepted.
If you are paying to promote your TweetAdder affiliate link, please turn these off as we do not want you to spend money promoting and get no sales in return.
Hopefully, we can get access restored! If so, we will send you a follow up email advising you that you can resume your affiliate promotions.
Thank you for sticking with us and ALL of your promotion efforts!"

TweetAdder ist (oder besser wohl war) ein Programm, mit welchem man sinnvollerweise gewisse Routineabläufe bei Twitter automatisieren kann (konnte).
Sinngemäß übersetzt bedeutet das: "Schalten Sie keine Werbung mehr für den TweetAdder weil das Programm wegen einer Änderung von Twitter so gut wie nicht mehr funktioniert!"

Aber auch andere Programme sind von ähnlichen Entwicklungen betroffen:

Was das soll? Keine Ahnung!
Was Twitter und Facebook an den Zweitanbietern stört? Was weiß ich?
Fakt ist, beide Tools, die mir und vielen anderen sicherlich sehr viel Zeit erspart haben, funktionieren aufgrund von (willkürlichen) Entscheidungen und Änderungen der Voraussetzungen durch Twitter bzw. Facebook nicht mehr.
